Our Home Hospice Program in Los Angeles
Here at Lucky Palliative Services, we work hard to provide our patients with comfortable and convenient hospice care from the comfort of their own homes. We can arrange for our hospice nurses and physicians to give patients the care they need at whatever location they may choose. This enables both you and your loved ones to enjoy care in a familiar, comfortable, and safe hospice care environment.
Patients who are dealing with critical illnesses often like to stay inside their homes. When people choose hospice care, they are making the decision not to undergo curative treatment, which makes extended hospital stays unnecessary.
This means that hospice care patients won’t have to spend time in a sterile, scary, and lonely hospital environment. They will also save the money they would have spent to stay in a hospital bed. While they may not receive access to the broad range of treatment found in a hospital, they will have the comfort of being in their own home environment.
After all, home offers both physical and psychological comforts. Especially for elderly patients who have lived in their home for a while and know every corner, crack, and crevice, staying at home can be a soothing balm that makes hospice care much less stressful.
Home hospice will also help to significantly lower the patient’s injury risk. For patients with limited mobility, a home setting is much more comfortable and has often been adapted already to their needs, from handrails to furniture being placed just so. In a hospital environment, staff and patients would always be coming in and out of what should be your loved one’s personal space.
By getting home hospice care, patients will be able to decide who they want to see, when they want to see them, and how long they want them to stay. Here at Lucky Palliative Services, we pride ourselves on providing both you and your loved ones with the compassionate care that everyone deserves as they near the end of life. We serve Canoga Park, Los Angeles, North Hollywood, Sherman Oaks, Valley Village, Studio City, Thousand Oaks, San Bernardino County, Antelope Valley, Ventura County, and regions across Southern California.
